If you don’t have your own domain (your
"dot-com" name), we work with you to
choose the name that works best for you
and, subject to its availability, we
register and claim the name for you with
the proper registration authorities.
Once this domain name is secured, we
create an account with our web servers.
This is where your website will be
stored and accessed by internet users.
We can also create optional email
accounts. We recommend such action, as
you’ll be able to have "Name@YourDomain.com"
email addresses, adding to the branding
and name recognition of your site. NOTE:
You will only receive a billing
statement from John Allo Productions,
simplifying your accounting records. If
you already have a domain and want us to
redesign your current site, this step is
waived.
Your website will be hosted (stored) on local, reliable web servers.
Should any issues arise, we act on your behalf to quickly resolve them.
Using content you provide (usually a church Weekly Bulletin or a business
flyer or special, we update your
website to keep it as current as possible. For churches, this includes information as
diverse as mass times, special parish events, religious education, notes
from the Pastor and more. You can also store documents such as registration
forms, marriage prep documents, etc. for parishioners to download. For small
businesses, this can include information such as product specials, promotions
and other unique offerings. Keeping your website updated with fresh content
makes it worthy of repeated visits from your parishioners or customers. |
